At the AGThomas Open Day ......we have hundreds of bargains in all departments, just for one day, with special promotions on several ranges. We also clear the shelves of older and discontinued stock to make way for exciting new ranges. And we like to meet and get to know our customers better, it helps us improve our services to you Tool and Technical items are laid out in our large ground floor warehouse, while discontinued gift lines are on the first floor. And to revive you after the bargain hunting there is a light refreshment buffet available all day on the top floor. Our full staff will be here to assist you, but we regret it will be too busy to deal with technical problems and queries on the day. DemonstrationsIf there is a particular piece of equipment, a Microweld, or Ultrawave Ultrasonic tank for example, you would like to see demonstrated, please let us know in advance so we can be sure to have it available. Many lines are now covered by Hazardous goods legislation and cannot be sent through the post. Our carriage charges are at rock bottom prices (we have negotiated an excellent contract with our carrier) but you can save money by collecting heavy or hazardous goods. That is L & R Cleaning solutions, Hagerty Jewellery Cleaning products, Gold Testing kits, Gilding salts, Degreaser, Clock weights and batteries, Watch Straps and Bracelets. In fact anything that is heavy or hazardous. Do call us to reserve any stock you wish to collect, it will not be invoiced until the day. Make it a Family day Out ...We are in a beautiful part of Yorkshire with countryside just a short drive away. If you want to make it a family day out, you could explore Haworth, home of the Bronte sisters and visit the Parsonage Museum, or walk in the splendid Yorkshire Moors and Dales. Take a trip on the famous Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and visit the Museum of Rail Travel. This is a museum with a difference - visitors are encouraged to board the footplate of a steam locomotive and sit in the compartments of Victorian & Edwardian carriages. Many vehicles have been used in 50 TV & cinema productions. Sound and video presentations recreate the atmosphere of a bygone age. Bradford is also the home of the acclaimed National Media Museum and is one of only 3 UK's designated 'City of Film' for 2009. Bradford has a wealth on interesting things to do and of course the World Heritage village of Saltaire is just a couple of miles away.
